About Us
The Northwest Universal Design Council is a volunteer citizens group seeking
to promote the incorporation of universal design principles, products, and
processes that enable everyone, regardless of age or ability to “live
actively by design.”
The Council serves as a forum to educate, discuss, plan, collaborate, and promote universal design into new built environments.
Our mission is to educate others so they can recognize, own, and promote good design for everyone. We will offer resources in such a way to illustrate options and empower people.
